Meeting People Where They Are
In many parts of Haiti, access to medical care is limited or nonexistent. Remote villages are often hours away from the nearest clinic, with rough roads and lack of transportation making the journey nearly impossible—especially for the sick, elderly, and children.
At Salem Hope and Caring Ministry, we believe no one should be denied healthcare simply because of where they live. That’s why our mobile medical clinic was created: to bring healing directly to those who need it most.
What Our Mobile Clinics Provide
Our mobile medical team travels across rural areas of Haiti, delivering free medical consultations, medications, and basic health education to entire communities. With the support of doctors, nurses, and dedicated volunteers, we are able to offer compassionate care that addresses both urgent needs and long-term well-being.
Services we provide include:
- Basic health screenings and blood pressure checks
- Treatment for common illnesses and infections
- Distribution of over-the-counter and prescription medication
- First aid and wound care
- Referrals for specialized care when possible
- Preventive health advice and education
Many of our patients are seeing a doctor for the very first time. For them, this isn’t just medical care—it’s life-changing intervention.
